Walk - Aberdyfi - Tywyn one-way: return by train

Route: Start at Aberdovey Station; walk along the shore to Tywyn.  Catch the train back from Tywyn Station to Aberdovey. 4.75 miles walk, almost entirely on sandy beach or along the edge of the dunes.

Obstacles: No significant obstacles. Approaching Tywyn, it is advisable to leave the beach before the groynes, and ascend the slope onto the coastal path.

Parking: Roadside parking on lane to Aberdyfi Station, off A493, and in Tywyn there are car parks at the Railway Station, and by Marine Parade.

Facilities: Public toilets in Aberdyfi (beside village hall) on Marine Parade, Tywyn, and at Leisure Centre,Tywyn.  Tywyn also has several cafes, on Marine Parade (seasonal) and on High Street (all year round).
