Funding for local heritage walks

 

Madog Walks Group is pleased to announce that their bid for funding from the LleCHI LleNI Community grant scheme has been successful.

The project will create and publish a series of "heritage discovery" walks around the local area.

The walks will be illustrated on a large map available for public display, supplemented by printed and digital leaflets for each walk.

The locality is rich in artefacts which give testament to the fascinating industrial past and its effect on the landscape and communities. 

There will eventually be opportunities with both Madog Walks Group and with a number of other local groups to take part in some short guided walks along these heritage discovery routes.
